TMS invades Adamson University

Last September 25, 2008, TMS Head for Operations Lawrence Sol Cruz was invited to give a talk to a handful of Adamson Business Administration students regarding the use of Information Technology in starting up businesses.

Being an Entrepreneur himself, Lawrence’s talk highlighted the various technological applications that can be integrated and applied in managing business endeavors. He discussed the use of the internet as the prime tool for Marketing in his presentation entitled “Synergy: Integration of Technology in Business”. He also mentioned various tools in promoting a new business such as the use of a website, having Web Marketing and Online Services as part of TMS’s service offerings.

His talk went around “passion” as the key for starting up any successful business, he goes on to say “Always keep an eye on what drives of fuels you and base your business on it, never be swayed by new technology but instead, use this as a complimentary tool in making the idea work”.

The 90-minute talk was very well attended by more than 500 students and faculty members of University, including Mr. Angelito Balboa – Chairperson for the Office Administration Deparment.

Countdown Begins!

The countdown for the much awaited interactive TMS website has already started. The entire Web-Based Marketing and Online Services team of the prestiged outsourced training company has been busy sending out teaser materials via email, promoting the various interactive components the new website will soon contain.

Lawrence Sol Cruz, TMS Head for Operations has mentioned that the website will also include a downloadable monthly podcast show where a variety of Training and Development issues and trends will be discussed, “this is a way for us to strengthen the Philippine’s training community in the goal of making the profession more solid and recognized”, he also said that the podcast show will have a flexible format, from interviews with recognized training personalities to lively discussions on issues about training and how to make delivery of programs enhanced.

The website will feature all the heads of the five business segments of TMS, namely Training Management, Organizational Development, Project Management, Market Research and Web-Based Marketing and Online Services. It is aimed to showcase the profiles of these people as well as the numerous testimonials of their esteemed clients and partners.

TMS: Building your Front Liner Sales Team

Training Management Solutions has entered into a partnership with Motorola, particularly to service the latter in beefing up its Sales Team, particularly in time of the launch of Motorola’s latest flagship brands, the Motorola V8 and Moto Q.

Working closely with the Motorola triumvirate, Andrew Limjoco (Market Development Manager), Mikee Morado (Training and Development Specialist), and Patrick Aronson (Country Head), TMS is given jurisdiction over the Sales Ambassador Program of Motorola for its retail outlets. TMS is left in-charge of the whole Sales Ambassador cycle, from creating and designing the training program, to hiring and training the Sales Ambassadors, even up to managing sales operations and incentive schemes that span a three-month period.

TMS officially launches Online Services segment

March marks another milestone in the young history of Training Management Solutions, as it officially instates its online segment, the Web Based Marketing Service Business Unit. Composed of a diverse team of experts from different parts of the country from CDO to Davao, TMS employs this business unit to offer a twofold faculty: Training and Marketing — services rendered across an online platform.

TMS bags Siemens Call Center for Workforce Management Training

Training Management Solutions, under the headship of Lawrence Sol Cruz, lands Siemens Inc. as a major account, specifically its Call Center services arm located in Eastwood City Cyber Park. Hand in hand with Sol Cruz is TMS Account Manager Lauren Ello, who states, “TMS was commissioned to formulate a competitive training design for Siemens’ Work Force Management Training,” a customized training program initiated by Siemens Call Center.

Siemens Workforce Manager Olivia Laxina-Uy has appointed TMS to be in charge of authoring a training program that’s tailor-fit to the needs of the whole Work Force Management Department of the call center arm.
